Interaction in Physical Education Class

Hello,

Today, I'm going to talk about the interaction in my Physical Education lessons for ESO. The methodology that I use is a mix of them, not only one. I prefer to use different methodologies depends on the group, the topic and the situation.

In my lessons, you can find a lot of different interactions with the students. I think that these interactions are a very good way to promote learning and motivation. Examples of that:

Games
Advantages: Very motivating way to learning
Disadvantages: You need to be very persuasive to maintain the attention.


Discussions and Debates
Advantages: Participation
Disadvantages: Probably the shy students need help to participate.


Presentations (Ind/Group)
Advantages: They can look for information about some topic that they are interested.
Disadvantages: We have the same problem with the Discussions and Debates.


Correction and feedback
Advantages: The students feel that their work means something. They are evaluated and corrected in a good way.
Disadvantages: Competition and unfair evaluations.



Role-playing
Advantages: They can evaluate their partners. Is a motivating way to improve their communication abilities.
Disadvantages: Personal feelings and interests.
